Early Years

The Early Years is a large unit consisting of reception children, nursery children who attend either a morning or afternoon session and two year olds. Children in reception are split into groups for Read/Write Inc.   Nursery children are split into groups for phonics and maths activities and other adult directed activities. We offer children a wide range of multi sensory activities which cater for individual learning styles. Our approach is a balance between play - child initiated and planned as well as teaching skills such as reading, writing and mathematics.
