Intensive Support

Schools that go on to receive intensive support from the Hub are known as our Partner schools.  

Partner schools can receive up to a maximum of nine literacy specialist days over two academic years with a maximum of six days delivered in any one academic year.  The intensive support includes close support and monitoring from our Hub leadership team and funding for training and resources.

We select partner schools according to a number of eligibility criteria and schools must be able to demonstrate that they have the motivation and capacity to bring about improvement.

We are currently supporting 41 partner schools, with 6 schools entering their third year of support, 22 entering their second year of support and14 schools  that are just beginning their first year of support.

Over the next few months we will be identifying Wave 8 partner schools to start receiving intensive support.
