Welcome to Orgill Primary School, and thank you for taking the time to visit our website.
Orgill has been part of my life for many years. I attended the school as a child and returned in 2006 as a newly qualified teacher. Since then, I have had the privilege of growing alongside the school, and I am incredibly proud to now serve as Headteacher.
This is a school where children and families belong. Orgill sits at the heart of its community, and we place great importance on creating a warm, inclusive environment where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and respected. We believe that when children feel a strong sense of belonging, they are confident, happy, and ready to learn.
We are a school where every child is known as an individual and encouraged to be the very best version of themselves. Our dedicated staff work tirelessly to provide a rich and engaging education that supports academic success alongside personal development, wellbeing, and positive relationships. High expectations are underpinned by care, encouragement, and understanding.
Working in partnership with parents, carers, and the wider community is central to who we are. Together, we create a school family where children feel safe, supported, and proud to be part of Orgill.
Whether you are considering Orgill for your child or are already part of our school community, I hope this website gives you a true sense of what makes our school such a special place. If you would like to find out more, please do not hesitate to get in touch or arrange a visit. We are far more than just a school. Orgill is a very special place to be. Come and see for yourself!
With best wishes,
Holly Collins
