2026 - 2027 Offer

The Department for Education (DfE) has confirmed that English Hub support will extend from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through to Key Stage 3 for the 2026–2027 academic year.

Our expanded offer reflects our commitment to strengthening literacy across the full primary phase and into secondary. We will provide both tailored in-school support and sustained, high-quality professional development.

In-School support

In-school support includes:

  • A comprehensive early reading and literacy evaluation
  • A bespoke action plan aligned to your school’s priorities
  • Potential funding to strengthen provision
  • In-person coaching and support from our highly skilled Literacy Specialists

We are delighted to announce that the English Hub programme will expand significantly in the 2026–2027 academic year. From September 2026, the Department for Education (DfE) has confirmed that English Hub support will extend from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through to Key Stage 3.

This expansion creates new opportunities for schools to engage as partner schools across all phases, with additional capacity and funding available.*

Our support will continue to prioritise Reading for Pleasure and Early Language, alongside a strengthened focus on the following key areas:

  • EYFS: Early language development and literacy in Reception
  • KS1: High-quality phonics teaching and leadership development
  • KS2: Phonics catch-up, reading fluency and the development of strong, confident readers
  • KS3: Supporting struggling readers and embedding a coherent, whole-school approach to reading

Partner schools will receive tailored in-school support, including evaluation, action planning, coaching from expert Literacy Specialists and access to DfE-approved professional development programmes.

Schools that have previously accessed support and funding may be eligible to re-engage from September 2026, subject to meeting the programme criteria.

If you would like to explore becoming a partner school for 2026–2027, please complete the Expression of Interest form and a member of our team will be in touch.

Professional Development

Our professional development programme continues to grow and includes DfE approved core programmes across EYFS, Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3. These programmes are designed to build subject knowledge, secure fidelity to validated approaches, and drive measurable improvements in pupil outcomes.

Our professional development offer is expanding significantly for 2026–2027, and we are delighted to introduce two new Department for Education (DfE) approved programmes alongside our established, high-impact provision.

Designed to strengthen literacy leadership, classroom practice and pupil outcomes across all phases, our CPD programmes combine expert input, practical implementation strategies and sustained professional learning.
