Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. If you are already an Orgill pupil or parent this will provide you with regularly updated information about what is happening in school. If you are thinking about becoming part of our school community, I hope that what you see will interest you enough to pay us a visit.
As a former pupil of this school, I am very proud to now be the head teacher. I became head in September 2006 and the school has changed dramatically since then. It is a happy, friendly place where pupils feel safe, secure and look forward to walking through the door each morning.
Whilst it is my priority to ensure that every child receives an education that will enable them to achieve their academic potential, it is also extremely important to me that we provide our pupils with as many positive experiences as possible. Children will enjoy sport and a wide range of after school activities. They will have the opportunity to take part in music and dance festivals and to represent our school in a number of ways. They will carry out problem solving activities during our Forest School sessions and enjoy a residential experience in a city and a countryside location. We will nurture every child, develop their confidence and aspiration and make them aware of the endless possibilities that await them in life. We have high expectations and strive to ensure that every child leaves us having achieved the very best that they can personally and academically and with respect for themselves and others.
All of our staff share this vision and recognise that our children are all unique with their own needs and talents. They work incredibly hard to provide a varied and engaging curriculum and give every child a memorable school experience.
